Our family, our passion
At BOSCANO Italian Spinoni UK, our dogs are cherished members of our family. They live in our home, enjoy lovely countryside walks with their fur friends, and participate in championship dog shows and Crufts. We pride ourselves on our ethical breeding practices and dedication to the breed's heritage.
The Italian Spinoni is a breed of hunting dog. It can hunt on land and water and was traditionally used for tracking, pointing, and retrieving game. It swims well and enters cold or deep water without hesitation.
This is wonderful breed is not for everyone. They have a strong prey drive, need lots of exercise once they are grown because their joints and plates take time. They need their brain stimulated.
They are one of the biggest Gundog breeds:
Females can be up to 25.5 inches tall
Males can be up to 27.5 inches tall
They should be solidly built, weighing up to and sometimes over 40kgs
